Wings of Agriculture Global Green Social Service is a non-profit social organization established in 2017 with the objective of promoting the holistic development of underprivileged, marginalized, and needy sections of society. Our mission is to advance social justice, human welfare, and sustainable development. A special and significant focus of our organization is the social, educational, and economic empowerment of the Anglo-Indian community.
Wings of Agriculture Global Green Social Service (WAGGSS) is developing a long-term Heritage Preservation & Cemetery Documentation Initiative dedicated to protecting forgotten historical cemeteries, memorials, and burial grounds connected with the Anglo-Indian community, British-era history, railway heritage, military history, missionaries, and colonial-era institutions across India and South Asia.
Our future vision is to identify, document, digitally archive, preserve, and respectfully restore neglected cemeteries and memorial sites that are gradually disappearing due to time, weather damage, and lack of maintenance.
Our Future Goals
• Cemetery mapping and historical documentation • Grave photography and inscription recording • Digital heritage archive development • Basic cleaning and preservation activities • Community awareness and volunteer participation • Research support for descendants and historians • Collaboration with heritage organisations and researchers
We believe that preserving old cemeteries is not only about protecting physical structures, but also about honouring shared human history and memory for future generations.
WAGGSS aims to gradually expand this initiative from local heritage sites in Jharkhand and India towards wider South Asian heritage preservation efforts in the future.
